You found the most stunning vintage art print in your favorite online boutique. You click a button and within days a cardboard cylinder shows up waiting for you at the front door. You unroll the paper only to find that you have no idea as to how big it actually is. Navigating the world of standard poster sizes can be an exercise in frustration when trying to simply decorate your blank walls. We've all stood in the living room with a tape measure attempting to find just the right fit. You don't have to worry about that anymore. Knowing the right dimensions will make all the difference in your decorating plans.

Let us guide you with the simplest methods.

Navigating the World of Poster Sizes

Small and Medium Measurements

Let us take it one step at a time so you can plan your next decorating adventure to a tee. The art world has long been defined by specific dimensional measurements. According to residential home architectural standards, knowing the difference can be the difference between good and great when it comes to interior decorating. Small spaces such as a hallway or reading nook call for smaller 11x14" prints. They'll look great above small side tables or in narrow entryways.

As far as standard living rooms go, 18x24" prints are the preferred option for medium sized wall spaces.

Adding Value to Your Display

In addition to standard paper sizes, you can also add value to your display by adding elegant photo mats which will create a wide profile look for your medium sized prints. Don't get confused, we're here to help. Our picture frame sizes cheat sheet will show you exactly how to match your art to the perfect frame right away.

Think bold motivational prints or beautiful landscape scenes.
