This frame is perfect for my needs. Not heavy, easy to unpack and load art or photo into. Cannot tell it isn't a glass front. Hanging apparatus easy to install. Overall great choice to save some money on framing.

This is a cheap frame. Don’t waste your money.

Perfect

I needed frames with unusual sizes so there were not many options. These frames serve the basic purpose, but very cheap material and poor construction. I am guessing the seller has to overprice to cover the shipping cost.

Overall, I consider the frame and mat satisfactory. It arrived intact; was extremely well packaged. Very satisfied with the cutting and color of the mat. The finish on the frame was worn in several places on the corners; not noticing this until I had handled them just a little, I am not sure if they arrived that way or if the color wore off in the little bit that I handled them. Fortunately, being black, a marker covered the wear marks, but that should not have been necessary on a new frame. An additional note is that the backing is held in place by thin metal tabs that are bent to remove the backing and bent again after reinserting the backing (rather than the kind of tabs that are rotated out of the way), and it has been my experience in the past that the type of tabs on this frame will begin breaking off after just a few times of bending.

Making puzzles is one way my family makes memories. This frame isn’t junky. It’s black matte. It’s solid and not flimsy. It doesn’t warp, and for us, it makes a 1000 piece puzzle the perfect way to enjoy and remember. And if you do purchase, you might want to write your names and date on the back of the puzzle so you’ll preserve the memory.

This frame is cute from the front which is what matters most, however flip it over and it’s not good. They included a sawtooth hanger taped to a piece of cardboard for you to attach yourself, and there is literally no backing board so you see cardboard. If you don’t care about this, great!

Awesome and exactly the goldish/antique color I was looking for

This frame is very well made. It was packed well so it wouldn't break.

I used this frame for a raised-relief topographic map print of California, and it turned out beautifully. The soft white finish doesn't compete with the print — it lets the sculpted mountain ranges and Central Valley really pop against the matte background. The frame itself feels sturdy and well-built for the price, with clean mitered corners and a nice matte finish that doesn't look cheap up close. One thing worth noting: my print had some real dimension to it (raised topography), and the frame's depth handled it without any issue — no pressing or flattening against the glass/acrylic. Assembly was straightforward, and it arrived well-packaged with no damage to the corners. Hangs flat against the wall and looks great in our hallway. Would definitely buy again for other art prints!
